The phone that, in my opnion, does things the way it should. The Samsung galaxy S II is one the andriod phones that stands out in crowd. It is a phone I recommend getting.

When you open the box you will find phone itself facing youin a small tray. Lift the tray and you will be presented with your quick startguide and the warranty papers. Then you will have your USB cables and a wallcharger, in ear headset with changeable tips, and a microssim adapter.

I was given the opportunity to use this phone for a few daysand I must say that my impression on this phone is greatly positive. ‘Greatly’being an understatement really. I was hooked to this phone! When you hold the phone with the battery init, you will question as to what you are holding because of how light weightand extremely thin the device is; despite the phone having a bright and large4.3 inch Screen. This screen is a super AMOLED Plus screen. This technology brings out sharp images andbright detail on the 800*480 Resolution screen.

The phone has a Rear facing 8 megapixel camera sensor with aLED Flash as well as a front facing 2 Megapixel camera. The rear camera takesrelatively decent shots as well as high quality Full HD Video at 30 frames persecond. The front facing camera is mostly used for video calls and a few selfportraits, though it only shoots video at VGA quality.

This phone runs Android 2.3 gingerbread which is the latestmobile OS from android. The phone consists 16 GB of internal storage. As wellas expansion via MicroSD.

This phone is also quite powerful with a dual core 1.2 GHzCPU, and 1GB of ram. When you first power on the phone the screen itself isvery impressive with very decent contrast and colors. The phone itself boots upvery quickly and at first boot it introduces you to setup the device. And sinceit is an android device it asks you to enter a Gmail address or register for anew one. This Gmail account is used throughout the phone for services. This is alsorequired for use of the Android market place. The phone itself has a Gmailapplication and it will instantly start to pull in all your emails on to the phone.You can, of course, set up emails from other services. The phone comes with usefulpreinstalled application such as maps, lost phone management, Polaris Office,Adobe Flash 10.2, and a native YouTube application. The other utilities areVoice recognition such as speech to text as well as Google voice translation.

The device has a lot of power especially when renderingmedia in webpages. It has Flash integrated so it can run full embedded flashcontent such as video from Facebook or YouTube. Other than that the phonesbrowser also has HTML 5 support for dynamic WebPages. It does all this withoutlagging.

This phone utilizes the Andriod marketplace for all the appswhich are basically optimized and compatible with this phone with no rundown orfreeze ups.

This phone is compatible with all of our mobile carries onthe island including its GPS functionality, which makes this phone a perfect choicefor anyone looking for a high end smart phone that basically does it all withoutbeing held back. There are a lot of features that I myself was amazed with onthis phone. It was hard to let go.
